- DIFFERENTIAL! AXLE SECTION — Manaoer—Trevor Beaumont
Trevor Beaumont is the foreman for this section aid a member of our management
committee. Trevor was with Borg Warner! Geamax from 1980 — 1996 where he
gained a wealth of experience on all types of Differentials and Gearboxes as well as
attending courses within the Borg Wamer/Gearmax operation.
- AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION SECTION — Workshop Manager — Salim Akburally
Salim Akburally, who was with Gearmax from 1987 - 1996, is our workshop manager
and heads up this section. He has a wealth of experience and knowledge on
Automatics. He has attended courses at both Samcor and Toyota and scored
percentages in the high nineties at both courses. Saleem is also a member of our
management committee.
- MANUAL TRANSMISSION SECTION — Manager — Michael March
Michael March who has N2 and N3 qualifications in fitting and machining from
Durban College is the foreman for this section and a member of our management
committee. Michael joined Gearmax in 1994 and quickly became a very
accomplished rebuilder. He joined Transmission Centre in February 1996.
- FITMENT SECTION — Foreman — Leslie Mngadi
Leslie Mngadi, who gained his experience at Gearmax where he was employed from
1987 — 1995, is the workshop foreman and a member of our management
committee. Leslie is a very loyal employee and is charge of “The guys on the floor”.
